Honouring Our Founder, John Shinner
It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved founder, John Shinner, who sadly died earlier this Summer at the age of 94.
John, along with his wife Wendy, bought Priory Farm in 1957 and has been instrumental in its development over the past 67 years. His vision, dedication, and tireless efforts have shaped Priory Farm into the thriving business it is today.
John was more than just our founder; he was a visionary, a leader, and a mentor to many. His tireless efforts and passion have been the cornerstone of Priory Farm’s success.

Our Farm Shop takes pride of place here on the Priory Farm Estate, regularly voted among the best in Surrey for high-quality produce. Packed with all the essentials, including the freshest seasonal selection of fruit and vegetables, a wide range of meat in our friendly butchery, delectable cheeses, baked goods and deli treats.
Our Garden Centre has grown into a popular destination for those seeking the finest quality plants, trees, shrubs, garden furniture, outdoor cookware and lots more.

Discovery Land
Enjoy a family adventure in the great outdoors. Our much-loved Discovery Land is set amongst 40 acres of beautiful countryside, welcoming visitors of all ages throughout the seasons. Open all year, it’s the perfect place for healthy outdoor activity with family and friends.
Gift Barn
Inspiring gift ideas and home accessories for you and your loved ones. Located a stone’s throw from the farm shop, you can find the Gift Barn just across the car park from our Farm Shop. You’ll find a wide range of gifts and homeware for the whole family, handpicked by our team.
Our Garden Room Café here at our Garden Centre is open daily, offering a wide variety of delicious hot and cold, freshly prepared meals and refreshments. Whether you’re looking for a hearty breakfast, a light bite for lunch or a coffee and a sweet treat, it’s the perfect place for a catch up with friends and family.
