Based here in our Farm Shop, our butchery is looked after by our passionate team who ensure all our meat is treated with care, respect and passion for producing an excellent cut by hand.

We thrive to deliver on quality and customer service, with a wide range of both modern and traditional cuts.

Our butchery counters are always stocked with a selection of local, free-range and ethically raised beef, pork, lamb, poultry and more, plus our award-winning range of handmade sausages and sausage rolls!

It’s not all about the well-known cuts, one of the best things about buying meat from a butcher is that if you fancy something a little more unusual, our team can help advise!

Our extensive product range celebrates the very best of our local produce, helping to reduce food miles and ensuring traceability.

From carefully sourced beef to expert butchery and simple, thoughtful cooking, here’s our guide to helping you get the very best from your steak at home.

Our Beef Wellingtons are crafted to be a true centrepiece. We use tender beef fillet from our Butchery, topped with sautéed mushroom duxelles, wrapped in Parma ham, and encased in golden, latticed puff pastry stamped with our signature Priory Farm logo.

Each wellington is prepared by hand using carefully sourced ingredients and a time-honoured technique, resulting in a rich, flavourful dish.

Available in sizes for 2 people or 4–6 people, they’re perfect for special occasions, celebrations, or a memorable Sunday feast at home.

That’s why we’re passionate about working with local farmers who truly care about what they do, from how animals are reared, to how the land is looked after, to the quality of the food that eventually reaches your table.

Recently, some of our Butchery team were lucky enough to spend time at Trenchmore with Farmer Andrew, learning more about the herd, the land and the care that goes into producing the beautiful beef we proudly stock in our butchery. It was one of those visits that reminds you exactly why supporting local farming matters so much.
