Ingredients

2 tsp The Artisan Kitchen Lime, Lemon & Vanilla Marmalade
50ml Estate gin (or vodka for a lighter twist)
25ml fresh lemon juice
15ml sugar syrup (optional – sweeten to taste)
Ice
Lemon twist or dehydrated citrus wheel (to garnish)

Method

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add the marmalade, gin, lemon juice, and sugar syrup.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds. This gives the marmalade the movement it needs to blend smoothly into the cocktail.
  3. Fine-strain into a chilled coupé or martini glass to ensure a silky texture.
  4. Twist a lemon peel over the glass to release the fragrant oils, then drop it in.
  5. For extra flair, rim the glass with a touch of marmalade and dip it in fine sugar for a sparkling citrus edge.
