Open all year, Discovery Land is the perfect place for healthy outdoor activity with family and friends.
A family nature trail with surprises around every corner! Venture along our way-marked walk through ancient woodland, green pastures, meadows and around our fishing lakes.
Discovery Land changes with the seasons; from cheerful daffodils and summer sunflowers, to frosty cobwebs on our spooky halloween trail, the walk is different every time you visit and is enjoyed by many of our returning customers time and time again.
Discovery Land tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Woodland Fairy Walk
Discover the hidden magical world of Priory Farm’s woodland fairies at Discovery Land!
Be sure not to wake the sleeping fairies as you tiptoe across ancient fairy settlements and shrink down to the size of a sprite to experience the never before seen fairy playground!

A number of new exciting additions have been made to our family nature trail, welcoming our new guardians Fern, Timber and Pebble to the Priory Farm family. Deep in the woods, you’ll find Timber’s new treetop home which he can’t wait to share with you all!
Our educational nature trails are designed especially for children; prompting them to discover interesting facts about the surrounding wildlife and trees. As your young ones rush from activity to activity, you can take in the splendid views over the South Downs.
As you head off on your adventure....
…up in the distance, high on the hill, you’ll see our Giant’s Chair. Take a seat and you really are the king or queen of the castle! Stop for a moment to admire the views, then rush off over the wibbly wobbly bridge, down to Fern’s house.Â
Make sure that you don’t miss our fairy city as you wind your way along the woodland walk, which is carpeted with bluebells in the spring.
Down at the lake, you’ll find our hungry fish. Ring the bell and watch as the water becomes alive with hundreds of carp, ready to be fed! Don’t forget to buy some of our approved fish food at the entrance.
You’ll no doubt come across our resident guinea fowls on your visit, which are sure to keep everyone entertained. Did you know a group of guinea fowl is called a confusion? You’ll see why when you meet our feathered friends!
After all that fresh air and fun, you’ll be ready for a sit down and a bite to eat. You can call in at our Shepherd’s Hut where you can grab an ice cream for the kids and a reviving coffee for Mum and Dad. Our Shepherd’s Hut is open every day, weather permitting.
