When does the Father Christmas Experience take place?
Performances of The Father Christmas Experience take place on select dates between Saturday 23rd November and Tuesday 24th December. 

Where does the experience take place?
The Father Christmas Experience takes place within the festive Village Green at Discovery Land on the Priory Farm Estate. As you enter Discovery Land, follow the signs to the theatre for the first part of your adventure. After the show, you will see Father Christmas in his cabin which is situated just across the Village Green at Discovery Land.

How long does the Father Christmas Experience last?
The theatre show lasts approximately 30 mins and then you will visit Father Christmas separately in the festive Village Green. Your time slot to see Father Christmas will be within 45 mins after the show and during this time, you can enjoy the festive setting of the village, play on our play features, and purchase snacks and hot drinks to enjoy together. 

Will any of the experience be outside? 
As the Father Christmas Experience is in its brand new home in Discovery Land this year, some of the experience will be outdoors, such as waiting for entry to the theatre and then waiting for your visit to Father Christmas in our festive Village Green. 

Does the Father Christmas Experience ticket include entry to the Winter Trail?
Whilst both events are taking place within Discovery Land itself, tickets for the Winter Trail are separate and require their own individual booking. All bookings include access to the festive Discovery Land Village Green.

I want to add the Discovery Land Winter Trail to my booking, can I add this for a different day or same day?
When booking the Father Christmas Experience, you can add the Winter Trail to use on either the same day or different day. If you are booking for the same day you are welcome to complete the trail either before or after. If you are booking for before, please allow 1.5hrs to complete the Trail. If you are booking for after, please allow a maximum of 2hrs from your booked time slot before booking to complete the Winter Trail.   

Why is my Father Christmas Experience  ticket charged at a different peak/off-peak rate to the advertised Discovery Land Winter Trail ticket?
Whilst both events are taking place within Discovery Land itself, they are separate and require their own individual bookings. The busiest days for each event differ, with more available on some days than others. Please note all tickets include access to the festive Discovery Land Village Green area. 

Do you offer sessions for children with special needs?
Yes, on Sunday 1st December at 9:15am and 10am, we will be running relaxed performances allowing for smaller groups and a calm environment. 
These sessions do include music throughout the show, however, the music will be at a lower level for these performances. If you are interested in booking tickets, please book online. Please note children with special needs are very welcome to attend any of our performances. 

Is it suitable for wheelchair users?
Yes, The Father Christmas Experience is suitable for wheelchair users.

Can I bring my dog?
Only registered guide dogs are permitted entry to this experience.

Can I bring a child in a pushchair?
Pushchairs are not permitted within the experience. There is an area on site where you can leave your pushchairs before entering the experience. Priory Farm will not be held responsible for any lost or damaged items. 

Is parking available?
There is free parking on site but please allow yourself enough time. In peak sessions the farm can get very busy. 

What time do we need to arrive?
Please ensure to arrive at least 10 mins prior to your booked performance time. The show is set to a strict timetable, please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time before your scheduled entry slot. Late entry will result in you missing some of the show. Management reserves the right to refuse late entry if it causes disruption to the show. 

Will every family get to meet Father Christmas?
Each family will enjoy a 1:1 visit to see Father Christmas in his cabin in festive Village Green within Discovery Land after the show. Here, you will have the opportunity to meet and speak to Father Christmas, take plenty of photos and receive a very special gift. Don’t forget you can bring your letter along too! 

Can children attend without an adult?
No, all children must be accompanied by an adult. Each booking must contain at least one Big Festive Folk (adult) and one Small Festive Folk (child).

What facilities are available?
Toilets and baby-changing facilities are available on The Discovery Land, where the experience is located.

Can I take photos and videos?
There are opportunities to take photos and videos throughout the experience, please snap away and capture the wonderful memories. The Evergreen Elves will be on hand to take photos for you with Father Christmas with your own phone or device.  
Please be aware we may carry out video recording or photography whilst you are visiting us and may use the images for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be filmed, please contact us on discoveryland@prioryfarm.co.uk before your visit and let us know the date and time you are booked to attend. 

What food/drink is available on the Priory Farm Estate?
Please note food and drink is not permitted within the experience. A selection of treats and drinks options will be available for you and your family to enjoy in the festive Village Green prior or post your visit to The Father Christmas Experience. 
Just inside the entrance to the Discovery Land, you’ll find our Shepherd’s Hut. Serving chilled and hot drinks and a variety of snacks – including our festive favourites! Marshmallow roasting at our fire-pit is also available on select dates.
Here on the Priory Farm Estate, you’ll also find our Garden Room Café (located within the Garden Centre) and our Farm Shop, where you can pick up lots of delicious items to enjoy!

I can no longer make it, can I cancel my booking?
Sorry, tickets are non refundable. As per our booking terms, you are welcome to transfer your booking to an alternative date subject to availability and an account being set up with us upon booking. Please see below for further details.

I can no longer make it, can I move my booking to an alternative date?
Tickets are transferable to another date up to 12 hours before your scheduled visit, for all customers who have created an Account upon booking. This allows you to manage your booking and change the date and time of your visit, should you need to, a minimum of 12 hours prior to your booked date. Making any changes to your booking will incur a small administration fee of £0.50 per person. Tickets will not be transferable for customers who do not create an Account upon booking. Please note, ticket transfers are subject to availability. No refunds will be issued if you miss or are late to the experience.
