Where does the Tractor depart from?
The Tractor departs from within Discovery Land – please ensure to arrive on time and check-in at the Discovery Land entrance up to 15 minutes prior to your departure time. Your ticket booking time indicates your Tractor departure time. Please ensure to bring your tickets with you, either digitally or printed so we can scan your QR code.
Can we walk to the Sunflower Field?
Due to the location, guests must travel via Tractor and are not permitted to walk to/from the sunflower field. A late arrival for your booked slot may result in you missing your Tractor ride to the Sunflower field.
Do children under 2 require a ticket?
Tickets must be booked for all visitors, including children under 2. Tickets for Under 2’s are a reduced price, including complimentary entry to Discovery Land.
How long can we spend at the Sunflower Field?
You will have 45 minutes to explore our Sunflower Field, before jumping on our Tractor and Trailer back to the Discovery Land Car Park.
When do we complete the Discovery Land trail and how long does it take?
You are welcome to visit Discovery Land either before or after your Tractor Ride, within our Discovery Land opening hours. We would recommend allowing at least 1.5 hours for our Trail at Discovery Land. You’re welcome to move at your own pace, lingering longer at certain points throughout the walk – with many of our visitors spending the day with us! Once you have checked in at the walk, you can have as much time on the walk as you like within our opening hours (our car park closes at 5pm Monday – Saturday, 4:30pm Sundays and Bank Holidays).
Can we pick the Sunflowers?
Your ride includes three sunflower stems per person. Tools will be provided, with adult supervision required. Additional sunflowers can be purchased on the day.
Is it suitable for pushchairs?
In the interest of safety, we request that pushchairs are left in the car, as they won’t be permitted on the trailer to the Sunflower Field. Please note Discovery Land is accessible for pushchairs, however we are in a natural environment where the ground can be hilly and bumpy in places.
Do tickets to the Sunflower Field include Discovery Land?
This experience includes entry to Discovery Land. You are welcome to enter Discovery Land either before or after your Tractor and Trailer ride. Please note last entry to Discovery Land is 3pm Mon-Saturday, 2:30pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Can I bring my dog?
Sorry, dogs are not permitted at Discovery Land or at the Sunflower Field.
What facilities are available?
Toilet facilities are available at the Sunflower Field and Discovery Land. Food and drink options are available at Discovery Land and our Garden Room Café, located just across the car park from Discovery Land. There are no food and drink options at the Sunflower Field.
What happens if it rains?
Our Sunflower Field and Discovery Land are both in natural outdoor environments and will be open come rain or shine. We would always recommend keeping an eye on the weather forecast and coming prepared with wellies and your brolly!
