Raspberry & Basil Gin Smash Cocktail

1. Muddle the basil leaves in the base of the shaker with the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup.
2. Add a couple of ice cubes and shake in a cocktail shaker until thoroughly chilled.
3. Double strain into a tall glass filled with ice, and garnish with raspberries and a freshly picked basil leaf.

*If making your own sugar syrup, dissolve 300g caster sugar in 150ml water over a low heat on the hob. Leave to cool and bottle for future use in cocktails. Keep stored in the fridge.
